ITLS courses combine a practical, realistic, hands-on approach proven to work in the field--from scene to surgery. It is dynamic, team-centered and flexible. 

2 Course days consist of concise didactic lessons combined with hands-on equipment skills sessions and scenario-based approached to trauma patient management. Cost of course includes textbook, and pre-course quiz.

Candidates will be evaluated on scenarios and a written exam.

note: ADVANCED ITLS Courses meet the requirements of occupational health nurses (OHN) and Registered Nurses will receive Advanced First Aid Equivalency as per Occupational Health and Safety of Alberta.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a video-based, Instructor-led, advanced course, builds on the foundation of basic life support (BLS) skills. It emphasizes the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR and takes healthcare provider training to the next level- highlighting the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
