For participants interested in becoming a Canadian Red Cross First Aid and CPR Instructor. Combination of online learning at your own pace and in-class Instructor-led sessions, followed by a "Teaching Experience"

(current Instructors with another approved program)

For participants interested in becoming a First Aid and CPR Instructor with Red Cross who presently hold current Instructional ability with another recognized program     (St. Johns, Heart and Stroke, etc). Combination of online learning at your own pace and in-class Instructor-led sessions, followed by a "Teaching Experience"

FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR -TRANSFER  OPTION B 
(Life Saving Society/Teachers)
COST: $495.00

Jan 17-18 only​

Candidates holding a current Lifesaving Society Lifesaving Instructor or a HIGH FIVE Trainer certifications qualify for this pathway.

FIRST AID INSTRUCTOR -RECERTIFICATION
2024-2027 cycle

Recertification courses are in-class 6 hours


Cost: $225.00​ plus GST
2026 Jan 10: 9am-3:30pm
2026 Feb 7: 9am-3:30pm
2026 Mar 7: 9am-3:30pm


For participants interested in maintaining a current First Aid and CPR Instructor certification. Pre-requisite is: taught 3 courses in 3 years, and completion of Regional Update 2023 and 2025 First Aid Instructor Update. Expired Instructors may still recertify with the addition of a Skills Evaluation which will add time and cost to the Recertification course. Inquire directly with us as situations vary.
